The Den is a 2013 found footage film by Zachary Donohue and his feature film directorial debut. It stars Melanie Papalia as a young woman that discovers a murder via webcam. Elizabeth is a young social media studies grad student studying the online activities of random people for her graduate thesis using a Chatroulette-esque webcam website called "The Den". Hoping to find a wide variety of human life to justify not only her work but also the grant she received, Elizabeth is understandably disappointed when her results are lackluster. She's beginning to believe that she won't find anything of value when she uncovers a video that appears to be of a gruesome murder. Elizabeth investigates the murder which puts both herself and everyone she knows at risk.
