Power Rangers: The Movie is a 1995 American superhero film based on the television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The film stars the regular television cast of Karan Ashley, Johnny Yong Bosch, Steve Cardenas, Jason David Frank, Amy Jo Johnson, and David Yost. The allies and villains are Australian and English actors. After participating in a Charity Drive for the Angel Grove Observatory, Bulk and Skull skydive with their friends in anticipation of Ryan's Comet, which is due to pass over in 2 days. They work up the nerve to jump well after their friends and land in the middle of a construction site, fortunately the foreman is called off when the workers discover a strange chamber, containing a purple egg in a mechanical hand. This alerts the interdimensional wizard Zordon, who contacts the Power Rangers Tommy, Adam, Kimberly, Billy, Aisha and Rocky and has them come to their strategic Command Center. Explaining that the chamber contains Ivan Ooze, a morphilogical being who was buried in the chamber 6,000 years ago, the Rangers travel to the construction site to seal him away, unaware that their enemies Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd had already freed him and commanded him to destroy them and Zordon. Ooze leaves the Rangers to fight his Oozelings and attacks the Command Center, destroying it. Meanwhile, the Rangers morph and dispatch Ivan's cronies before suddenly losing their own powers. Upon arrival at the Command Center, they discover the wreckage, and Zordon, outside of his timewarp is dying due to rapid aging.
