About Us

Who We Are

Foremost, we love film. Specifically, we love quality film.
Gathering consensus reviews on a certain movie title can be a daunting task. Synnematic does it for you. We compile aggregate scoring data from esteemed movie websites and mathematically determine if a film is worth your time and money.
Heading to the box office is not an affordable endeavor in the days we live in. Synnematic rates each film currently in theaters—and also those available for rent and purchase. You are going to emphatically know if critics and average moviegoers appreciate the film or instead, if you should shy away from it! Our opinions of each film are meaningless. Therefore, Synnematic scores for you, in a nonbiased manner, the films readily available for your viewing. The scoring system is subject to fluctuate as more critics and moviegoers evaluate each film—so, stop back frequently.
The final composite score is based out of ‘100’. Because we compile existing scores from various entities, any film over 85 should be considered stellar; any film below 50 may not be worth your time. It will be rare to achieve a rating of 100. This is the beauty of individual opinion—then combined. We collectively amass a large helping of others’ opinions and essentially give you a verdict. We show you the scoring from 3-4 major movie-ranking entities, factor in a small bit of deflation, take into account moviegoers' rankings, and formulate a /100 score. Enjoy.
